How does the free taster work?+
Every child gets one free taster session, ever, in any available session matching their age band. Create an account, complete your child's profile, and book — no payment required.
How do block credits work, and do they expire?+
A block of 4 sessions costs £40.00 (£10.00/session). Each purchase issues 4 credits to your child's account, redeemed one per booking. Credits expire 12 months after purchase. Blocks renew automatically when the 4th credit is used — you can turn renewal off any time from your dashboard.
Is there a sibling discount?+
When enabled, the 2nd and 3rd child on the same account get 10% off paid bookings and block purchases automatically at checkout. It only applies while AFS has the discount switched on.
How are age bands decided, and how are children grouped within a session?+
Every session belongs to exactly one age band (4–12), derived from your child's date of birth, and bands are never mixed. Coaches decide how children are grouped and where they play within each session on the day.
Can I cancel or get a refund myself?+
Parents can't cancel or trigger a refund directly. You can reschedule any upcoming booking to another available session in the same age band, free of charge, once per block booking, from your dashboard. Refunds and cancellations are handled by AFS on request.
What happens if AFS cancels a session for weather?+
All bookings for that session are automatically credited back (or the taster reinstated), and every affected parent is emailed with a prompt to rebook.
What should my child wear or bring?+
Shin pads, football boots or trainers, a water bottle, and weather-appropriate layers. AFS provides all training equipment.
How does signing in work — do I need a password?+
No passwords at AFS. Enter your email and we'll send a 6-digit code (valid 10 minutes, single use). Enter the code and you're signed in — the same flow works whether you're new or returning.
